Frequently Asked Questions About All-on-6 Treatment

What is All-on-6?

All-on-6 is a technique where 6 implants are placed in one jaw to create a full-arch fixed prosthesis. It is an extended version of the All-on-4 concept and is preferred in patients with a wide jaw structure due to the increased number of support points.

Differences from All-on-4

  • Support: 6 implants distribute chewing forces more evenly compared to 4 implants
  • Stability: Provides extra stability in longer arch bridges (12-14 units)
  • Bone: Ideal option for patients with sufficient bone density
  • Posterior region: Offers better support for back teeth

Treatment Process

Implant positions are determined using 3D tomography and digital planning. During the surgical session, 6 implants are placed and a temporary prosthesis is screwed in on the same day. After a 3-6 month healing period, a permanent zirconium prosthesis is fitted.

Which One is Suitable for Me?

This decision is made by the doctor based on the condition of the jawbone, jaw width, and chewing habits. Both methods provide same-day results and have a high success rate.
